Well, if you're wondering, YES, I got my Sony Alpa-100 DSLR! WOO HOO! It was on sale and Mike knew how bad I wanted it. He said if I was going to get it, I might as well do it now and save $100. It's been a fun weekend, but honestly, have not been able to use it that much since I've been busy doing some other things. We were going to the Outlets yesterday but changed our mind since it's SO busy during the weekends. We're going to drive up during the week and get Hunter some new shoes at the Stride Rite Outlet. He has LARGE, WIDE feet and they fit him the best. (athletic shoes anyway) We went to Lowe's Saturday to get some stuff for Mike to start the bathroom. Didn't work in it but will this week probably. We went by Ritz and got my camera, as well as yummy Starbucks coffee from next door. All I have to say is if you have not tried their Cinnamon Dolce Latte yet, DO IT. It is so yummy, right up there with the Pumpkin Spice! I had some clothes from the summer I needed to put in boxes for Mike to put in the attic. The agreement was that if I got the camera, I had to finish doing that chore before even touching my camera. It was hard but I got it done. I really had a lot to do so I didn't get as much time as I would have wanted but it was ok. Today, I went to church, kept the nursery, went to lunch with my grandparents, went to see my grandmother in the nursing home and then rested at home. It was nice but still had some pictures to download. I did get a lot of reading done on my camera and pretty much know where everything is. I still have some of the book to read. Tomorrow night, we're going to a class at Ritz Camera, where we bought our camera. They offer a 8 week course for free when you buy a camera from them. I can't wait. Mike and I are both going and it will be neat to learn the things they have to offer. They say it starts out basic and then gets into fun stuff, like how to take better photos. I also need to look at SonyStyle.com since they have some VERY cool classes at no cost to me. You watch it when you're ready and they even give you assignments. I did 1 before and it was really interesting. SO, I'm behind on my picture of the day but will catch up this week. I have some fun things planned too. Hope you all had a great weekend and have a great Monday. These pictures are from today. The first one is Mike reading The Cat in the Hat to the kids in Nursery. It was our turn today and so, Hunter dragged along his favorite book. The kids loved it and they looked sweet listening to him. I think it's a little out of focus but they were only there for a couple minutes so I took it fast. They really enjoyed that book! The second one was at my Grandmother's nursing home. She loves to see Hunter and watch him read books. He dragged his new favorite book in, yet again and he read it. We've both been reading it constantly but he adores it, even says the words as we're reading them now. What a silly duck:)
I have a prayer request if you don't mind. My grandmother is in a nursing home and she fell Saturday night in her room. She has fallen before but this time was really bruised up but lucky nothing else was hurt. Her eye is going to be black. It's red and purple right now and she has 3 stitches in her brow. She says she's ok but Obviously, I'm a little worried about her. She has the best sense of humor and is always in such a good mood, especially since living where she is now. I'm thankful for that. Anyway, thanks ...headed to bed. I'm so tired!!

Jenn, I will most definately put your grandmother on my prayer list ... do you mind sharing her name? Also, glad you got your new toy ... such fun! Which Outlets do you go to? We shop at the outlets in Williamsburg occasionally.
