In Memory Of Two Legends

Just wanted to remember these two legends that we grew up with. You may not agree with everything they did but we have to remember that none of us are perfect. It's not our place to judge. But it's only natural to have compassion and feelings for these two people's family. They were a son and a daughter, a parent, a Mother and a Father, a brother and a sister and a friend. Their life had meaning to so many and I know that they will leave a legacy behind. Remembering the family during their difficult time. They are all in our thoughts and prayers. May you rest in peace...

My Kids

Just wanted to post a couple picture of the kids. Hunter woke up sick on Father's Day. He was crying, begging us to take him to the hospital. He said his right ear was really hurting. We took him to the Patient First Sunday morning and found, he did have a Double Ear Infection. Poor Guy..I remember how painful those are. He had a pretty high fever most of the day, even on Tylenol and Ibuprofen. This was him Sunday night. I spiked his hair up after his bath to cheer him up... He thought it was funny. He's much better, but still weak.

My Hannah at Lunch on Sunday. She is such a curly head cutie. She was busy eating so didn't have time to smile.
Hope everyone has a good Tuesday. I'm tired today....

Happy Father's Day

Just wanted to wish all the Dads a very Happy Father's Day! I know how wonderful a Dad my husband is. And I was blessed to have such an awesome Father in my own life. He's a great guy and I'm so thankful for him. When I got married, I was blessed again with my Father In Law, who, by the way, pronounced us Man and Wife and signed our Marriage Certificate. What an Honor!

I thank God every day with all he has made good in our lives. Father's Day is another wonderful reminder.

Have a great day and God Bless!

More Pictures

My Handsome Little Boy My Ladybugs
Today was a slow day. We had a really bad storm at Work that had me wrapped in knots. I DO NOT like storms. I just get scared. Anyway, Mike had a Checkup about his lab results. He needs to lose weight (we both do) and he put him on Blood Pressure meds. But everything else was incredible. They told him if his BAD cholesterol was any lower, they wouldn't be able to test it. He was really excited about that. We want to get some weight off, be healthier and look better before our Cruise in December. I can hardly wait.
Well, I'm off to bed. Goodnight!

A Wonderful Day

Monday was a wonderful day. We were up SUPER early so we could be at our appointment by 8 A.M. We left at 6:40 A.M. and were on our way. We didn't hit any traffic jams, and we had time to pick up a Starbucks Coffee right before we went in. We confirmed that Hunter is definitely ADHD and that's OK. He said what we're doing is right on track. He was impressed by the progress Hunter has made this year. He also thinks that he will, continually progress as he enters Kindergarten in the Fall. He doesn't have to see us anymore unless any other problems arise. We were very impressed with Dr. Aiello. He gave us some information on Support Groups and Speech Assistance. I left feeling very good about Hunter and what his future holds.
After leaving the Doctor's office, we visited Grandaddy at his office and then, Mike's office. It was really nice. We went to Mi Hogar for Lunch, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants on the South side. Hunter got a haircut, ran home to shower, both of the kids changed clothes ande got Birthday pictures taken at Sears. It was a LONG wait so we ran over to Chick Fil A afterwards. The kids were pooped and ready for bed, like us. Mike went to sleep early too on the couch while I finished up some laundry. It's amazing how much Love my heart can hold. I just adore Mike and the kids more than anyone can imagine. And I'd do anything for them. I'm excited about the Summer and upcoming Fall for Hunter. I know he will excel. He is like a sponge and wants to learn every chance he gets. I'm proud of him and the hard work he has put forth this year. I'm blessed beyond measure. Well, goodnight. I've got lots of work to do before Hannah's Birthday party this Saturday. Goodnight and God bless!

Happy -FIRST- Birthday, Hannah!!

Our Family
One year ago today, my little girl was born and she changed our life forever. She has completed our family, made us all better, and become our son, Hunter's BEST friend. There's not a day that goes by that he doesn't kiss her in the morning, kiss her goodnight, read to her and offer to help any way he can. She is happy, friendly, always eager to see us and makes us all realize what a wonderful family we have. We love her so much, just like Hunter and thank God every day for the family he has blessed Mike and I with. Today, we're off to Virginia Beach for a visit with the Developmental Specialist for Hunter. Hannah is going with us and we're going to enjoy the day. Mike wants to take the kids by his work to meet some friends. Then, we plan to get their pictures taken and get ready for her BIG Birthday party on Saturday. It's a good start to the week. SO...
Happy Birthday, Sweet Hannah And Way to go, Hunter on being SUCH an awesome Big Brother!

FRIDAY!!!

Hooray....it's FRIDAY! We're going to North Carolina this weekend and having a nice rest. We're planning on going to the pool, to the beach and just relaxing at night with some TV and popcorn. I'm bringing some scrapbook stuff to work on. It's hard to do at home because we're usually so busy. We've been updating around the house, cleaning and getting rid of stuff. I think I need a bigger home to hold it all! Next weekend is Hannah's FIRST Birthday party and the following weekend is my best friend's Bridal Shower. Busy times but glad I've got them!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! God bless and be safe!!

Way To Go, Hunter!

Wednesday was a great day. I got to take an extended lunch to hang out with Hunter during Field Day and I went to a IEP Meeting for his Speech. He still needs Speech in the Fall but he is doing SO well. He's working on full sentences now and he's reading like crazy. (We have to MAKE him go out and play because he'd rather sit inside to read a book) His teachers are just AMAZED!

Tonite, we're going to short meeting at School for the Accelerated Readers. I'm looking forward to it. I'm just so proud of my little boy. It's been a GREAT School year for him and we'll be sad to see it end. His teachers are just wonderful.

Looks dreary and cool today, which is GOOD for me, since our A/C is not working at work. It's been HOT! Have a great Thursday..God Bless!
