I am Thankful

I have some pictures of Thanksgiving but today, I wanted to just mention a couple things I am thankful for. I know we take it for granted and forget the things we do/use/have every day.

I am thankful for...

-a roof over my head with running water, electricity and the correct temperature (heat/AC) to make us all comfortable

-my Husband, who works hard, at work and at home, every day to make sure we have a great life. He's my soul mate and my best friend. I love you so much, Mike!

-my kids, who never cease to amaze me. They have taught me what true love and caring is all about. They make my day, every day, on good days and bad. I love you, Hunter and Hannah!

-my family, who have always accepted me with open arms, the good with the bad and always been there for me when I needed them. You have no idea what each and every one of you mean to me. I love you, Family!

-my Church, and the people there that God has put in my life. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and siblings in Christ. I love you all!

-My God, for sending his son to die on the cross so that my sins would be forgiven. For guiding me in the right direction and helping me learn more about you every day, I give you my life. I love you, Lord and always will.

-A great job where I believe God intended for me to be and be happy. Sure, we ALL have our bad days but I'm very appreciative.

I hope you will tell someone today that you love them, and enjoy today as if it's your last day on earth. We really never know what tomorrow holds.

Have a great Monday!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Pictures, Images and Photos

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
I know today will be a busy day but I wouldn't want it any other way. First, to see our Granny, Papaw and Aunt Ellen, then Lunch at my SIL's house with all the family, cousins and fun, and lastly, Dinner at my grandparent's house with the other side of the family. We have a lot to be thankful for today and the whole year through. Good Health, Wonderful Family and a Lifetime of love to share. May God bless you today during this beautiful day of thanks!

It's Happy Hump Day!!

Wednesday is here and tomorrow will be Thanksgiving. Isn't time FLYING by? I'm looking forward to the rest of my week and weekend. I have so much to be thankful for!

We'll be cooking lots of yummies tonite for our long day tomorrow. I'm so thankful for all the family and love that surrounds us!

Mike is cooking our turkey this afternoon so we'll have a full Thanksgiving meal to take to our Granny and Aunt tomorrow. Then, headed to my SIL's house for a wonderful lunch with Mike's family. She's a great hostess and I know everything will be beautiful! A little later, we'll have Dinner at my grandparent's house with my side of the family, where my Aunt will be here all the way from South Carolina! She was here last year and it was so nice to see her!

I guess I'll be going to bed early so I can be at Wal-Mart the next morning at 3 A.M. to meet my MIL and SIL. for the 5 A.M. Door busters..we MUST be crazy but I can hardly wait!!

Mike has to work Friday so after I get home, he'll be headed out. I think the kids and I are going to have a nice day at home. I'm SURE I'll want to play with my new toy while we watch some movies together. FUN!

Hunter is spending the night with Grandma and Grandad Friday night so Mike and I may fit in some Wii gaming. I hope whatever you do, it's a nice time. Gotta run and get ready for work

I'm kinda sad....selling my Original Cricut and the wheeled carry on that fits it. It's sitting by the door and it just won't seem right, not owning one, at least for a day or two. (but glad I'll have my NEW one half paid for)
Have a great day =-)

Tired Tuesday

Whew..How does morning get here so quick? I was in bed by 8:30, right after Hunter and Hannah. I was so tired. It seems some allergies have hit Mike and I. It's always better after getting up and moving, though, thank Goodness. I had to stay up long enough to watch my ending auctions on EBAY. Oh, a couple people had asked for a link to my current auctions so I'm including that today. Just click here..

I'm headed to work, for an early meeting and then an appointment. Tonite, I've got to pack up and get ready to ship my Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Camera bag tomorrow. And I'm also selling my Original Cricut machine tomorrow. I LOVE my Cricut. I just hope I can get the Cricut Expression on sale on Friday. I can't WAIT to get my hands on it!!
(I cancelled my current Custom Crop order since they're getting a large shipment in next week and I can get a credit back)
Have a good Tuesday! (yawn......)

It's Monday!!

My Babies

This is Hunter and Hannah after Church on Sunday. Hunter was his usual patriotic self. I love my Love Bug! Hunter sang but I forgot my camera:( I can't believe it but it was OK. He's singing again the Sunday before Christmas and I'll get lots of great shots. Hannah looked like a snow princess! She was covered in fluff! It's been a BUSY week. I've got several auctions on EBAY I listed and are doing great. I've already made enough to order my new bag which I ordered once I knew my auctions would cover it. This is what I decided on...here. I can't wait to get it. My ONE Camera bag!

I also ordered the Cricut Expression, which I stated a couple posts ago that I really LOVED. Well, my husband surprised me and said he had started a payroll deduction to our other account a while ago and had been saving up for it. He knew I really wanted it.

I ordered it from Custom Crops. It's on back order right now until the end of November. They've told me it would be here by Christmas but I think I'm going to cancel it. Walmart is going to have it on sale Friday. Click here for the ad. My Mother In Law and I are going to be there at 3 A.M. for the 5 A.M. opening. Yes, we are crazy but I think it will be fun. I think the world of her and I'm SO looking forward to taking a chance to get this awesome machine. AND it comes with TWO cartridges. Happy Dance going on here, I'm so excited! And the truth is, before I found out the Custom Crops order would be back ordered, I sold my Original Cricut already. I put it on our Intranet at work, where we can sell things and it went within two hours. It makes me feel better that I can recover some of the cost for the new machine I planned to buy. She's supposed to pick it up this week and I don't know what I'll do without one. I use it SO much for cards, scrapbooks and just cut ups for Hunter. I LOVE this machine and I really owe the credit to my Mother In Law. She told me husband about it last year. I didn't want to think about it because I thought it was too expensive. But it went on sale and I use it all the time!

OK, I'm off to get ready for Work. I have a meeting this morning at Hunter's school. OH, a quick happy Mommy Moment....

Hunter is READING. He's sounding out words and putting them together. I'm so proud of him and I just ADORE watching him find new words everywhere!! Books have always been like a best friend to him..

Have a great Monday:)

Hey, Santa!!

Here's my two babies, sitting with Santa. We went to The Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World Sunday afternoon, after being home most of the weekend. Mike needed to rest but we were ALL getting a little cabin fever. We also went by and saw our grandparents, which I'll post pictures of that later this week. Neither one of the kids were scared of Mr. Claus. In fact, Hannah chewed a little on the ball at the end of Santa's hat! Hunter got to color a Christmas picture and write a letter to Santa. It was really nice to have a little Holiday fun....even if it IS before Thanksgiving. We got COMLIMENTARY photos of the kids with Santa, three to be exact. One for each of them and then, one together. We will probably still go to the Mall to see Santa, just for fun, and for the sake of Tradition but this was great. (these pictures Mike took)

My big guy, Hunter
And little cutie, Hannah. Doesn't she look COMFY?

Well, I'm headed to bed. I've got an early meeting in the morning and we MAY get some flurries. I love snow....I already have my Snowflake sweater ready to wear. We probably won't get any but a girl can dream....Have a terrific Tuesday!!

Thank God It's Friday!

I'm so glad today is FRIDAY! Mike is having some minor surgery so I'm home to take care of him today. It's a rainy, cool day and I'm ready to get moving. I'm looking forward to staying home all weekend. I have a little more cleaning to do and then, I want to work on some Christmas crafts and scrapbooking. Hope you all have a good day and great weekend! God Bless!

UH-OH

OK, I'm in trouble. This is, kinda, on my wish list. The Cricut Expression. It's all Mike's fault. He made me DVR that Infomercial about it:) I REALLY like what I've seen. I have the Original Cricut and use it all the time. I love it. I make cards, I scrapbook, I make decorations with Hunter and I LOVE it. Did I mention that?
With the current Economy situation, I'm sure I won't get it for quite a while. If I can't find it at KMART where I can put it on layaway, then I'll have to save up. I'm just saying....This bigger machine is REALLY cool! Have a great Wednesday!!

Happy Veteran's Day!

Thank you to ALL the men and women who have fought for our Nation. You are an encouragement to us all and we, truly appreciate your dedication to our Country.

God Bless the USA!
**
We had a great weekend. Mike had to work Saturday and when he got home, he went to the Shooting range with his friend, Rod. He did great..he brought his paper home. He enjoys it and I'm so glad he gets to chill out some.
From 15 yards away, 60 shots with only 7 outside the #10 circle! Go, Mike!
I was home most of the day with the kids but had a great time. We played games, listened to Disney music and had lots of great time together. I cleaned a little but HATE cleaning when my babies are awake. I got a lot done and had a great day. We went to Target to pick up some new tights for Hannah and black dress shoes for Hunter. I also got some ideas for the kids for Christmas. (We're done but were looking for the rest of the family) **
**
Sunday, I went to a Pampered Chef party and ordered the Chopper. I'm so excited! I love it and can't wait to make some new recipes using it. I'm having a party in January and I plan to order the Slicer. It was a fun party and lots of yummy food.
**
Well, I'm done feeding my baby girl this morning and I'm watching an Infomercial on the Cricut Expression. I have the Cricut Original. I don't know WHAT I did without it. My husband bought it for me for Christmas last year after my Mother In Law told him about it. I've wondered about the Cricut Expression but it would have to be on sale and somewhere I could put it on layaway:) The cute thing is that my husband just saw this on TV downstairs and came upstairs to show me. He turned the channel for me and DVR'ed it so I could watch it again for ideas. I LOVE this man. He's so wonderful. And he's off today for Veteran's Day and making us all breakfast. What a great guy!! Gotta go hug my lil' Hunter, who just woke up.
Have a great Tuesday!

Here are my babies, this past Sunday, all dresed up for Church. Their colors and outfits matched!

Thank God It's Friday!

Hooray, it's FRIDAY:) Hunter is spending the night with his Uncle Jeff and he can't wait. They're going to Taco Bell for Dinner, and watching a movie with popcorn at home. Hunter is SO excited. Not sure what our plans will be but I hope it's hanging out at home. I'm sure it'll be a busy day at work. Hoping it won't be raining today or tomorrow. Hunter and I are planning to rake leaves while Daddy is at work on Saturday. ONE MONTH from yesterday we leave for Disney and I have NOT finished my shopping. I've got to get busy so I'm starting to get a little nervous. I'm about half way done. Sigh....Well, Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

It's a Brand New Day

Well, today is a NEW day. The Election is over and there's no sense being upset about it anymore. Sure, I'm worried but the only thing I can do is pray about it. God is in control and that's enough for me. I have too many other things to worry about and I'm a big believer in Positive Thinking. Maybe Obama will surprise us...I have an open mind (but I'm still scared)

**
Anyway, I've got several things on my to do list today. Thursday is our Cleaning Night. I fed Hannah and read to Hunter last night while Mike picked up in their rooms and finished putting away some laundry. Tonite, I need to vacuum, finish picking up in our bedroom and clean off our Dining room table. (WHY does that table accumulate stuff??) I'd like to have the house all clean by the weekend. Mike has to work Saturday so I thought I'd rake leaves with Hunter while Hannah sleeps. (with the monitor close by, of course) Saturday night,While watching a movie with the family in the den, I'd like to finish my "BABY" album by Bo Bunny, finish adding Portraits of the kids in my Album and get some stuff ready to sell on EBAY. I'm DEFINITELY a Camera Bag Junkie. Just Look...
I have a Crumpler, a Lowepro, a Tamrac, a Targus and a black leather bag that was given to me. I had the Crumpler to serve as a "Purse look a like" and the Lowepro for all my lenses and gear. Well, I think I've decided that I want a larger Crumpler that will hold it all, or most of it. I only want ONE BAG. I made an agreement with Mike that if I sold my bags, I could use the money for a NEW one. I'm hoping to do it this week or next so that I'll have it for Disney World. My Point and Shoot Camera broke and it will be over $100 to fix so I decided to use my SLR all the time now. I love it. I'm actually getting very comfy with it. I might even look for a new strap at Disney, if they have a new look. I'm just DIEING to get a new bag....One bag. I'm looking at the Crumper 6 or 7 Million Dollar Bag. I have my Sony SLR with the kit lens, a 75-300 lens, a 50 mm, and my External Flash. Any suggestions??

Here's my unfinished Baby album. I'd like to get one done of Hannah and then, make one for Hunter. I'm not sure if I want to make a boyish BABY album to match or a BOY one. Hunter really likes to watch me work on it so I KNOW I want him to have one of his own. (or about him) They are ALOT of work but they're fun and really popular. I just hope I get better at doing them:)

This year is FLYING by. It will be Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner before we know it. I've been, diligently, trying to get my shopping done so I can enjoy the Holidays.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and God Bless!

Total Disbelief

This is my family, the most important thing in my life. I worry about them all the time, just because I love them and I care. Now, I feel like I have SO much more to worry about. I'm scared about the future in SO many ways. I went to bed because I, literally, felt sick to my stomach at the thought of the outcome of this Election. I am just praying that God will watch over my heart and allow me to support this President like I should. I am STILL a proud American and that has not changed. I'm just more guarded now. Please continue to pray for our country. In God we trust, now and always. God bless the USA.

This is what PROUD Americans look like!!

This is me, ready to walk out the door to go vote. Yes, at 7:55 A.M., we've already voted. Mike was in line at 5:30 and walked back in the house before 6:30. Then, I went and was home about 7:15. The lines were not bad. Everyone was patient, and we were out of the rain. Mike had an umbrella and I wore my rain coat. I had a hood but I walked right in the building. The rain was only sprinkles so we were lucky. I have navy blue pants on, my red shirt and a scarf my mom made. I'm a PROUD American!!
My baby girl, Hannah, has a dress on, with red and blue stars and a star patch that says "I love the USA". It's short sleeved so she'll wear her jacket and a nice warm blanket over her but it's always warm and cozy in the Home Daycare she attends. She's patriotic TOO!Mike doesn't get too dressed up for Special Events but he IS wearing blue. He was up, bright and early so he could vote so I guess that's how HE expresses his Patriotism. He'll wear his sticker all day too.
Hunter is spending the night with Grandma since he doesn't have School today. He IS wearing something patriotic but I don't have a picture of that to share. I WILL share the picture of him in his room the other day while we read. I LOVE his smile.
Hunter has just begun to start reading, a little. He's sounding out words and putting all the sounds together. He has all the Dr. Seuss books memorized since those are his favorites. He was looking over Fox on Socks the other night when he started doing some beginning reading. Mike and I were ecstatic!! I'm SO glad he shares our love of reading! It's his favorite thing to do!
I won't share my opinions on the Election but I WILL say that we are praying very hard. We're praying God will shower his blessings over this next president and the choices he makes, and this Election in general. In God we trust and that's the most important thing I can say. Please get out and vote today. It's so important to make our voice heard.
***
If you DO vote today, go by Starbucks and get a free cup of coffee. And Krispy Kreme is giving away a free donut. MMMM I'm DEFENTLEY going to get my free cup of coffee. YUMMY!
Have a wonderful day and God Bless!!

Happy Monday

Well, I had a wonderful, and very productive weekend. Friday, we went Trick or Treating, of course. It was lots of fun and I'll have pictures tonite. We visited lots of family afterwards that wanted to see our little animals. (The Cat in the Hat and a Ladybug)
*
Saturday, Mike was supposed to work but as he was leaving, Hunter climbed down the steps and begged him not to go. He explained to him that if he didn't go Saturday, he'd have to go Sunday. Hunter said that was a good plan and it was nice to have Mike at home. We cleaned alot around the house and Hunter got to play alot. We went for a long walk to the local Supercuts and the boys both got a hair cut. It was beautiful outside and it felt so good to be out!!
We visited our Pa Pa, who is recovering from Pneumonia. We had a nice visit and he's recovering nicely. He looked great.
*
Sunday, Hunter, Hannah and I went to Church and then went by Grandma and Granddad's. I'm having an X-RAY done at the hospital this morning to find out about the problems I've been having since my Cesarean complications. Sunday, I couldn't have anything but clear liquids and to be honest, I am HUNGRY. Ginger Ale and Chicken Noodle Soup just didn't fill me up. Mom made me some soup and then, I had to feed the baby. So, when I got home, I put the kids down for a nap and I got busy. I made a large pot of Chili, which they had for Dinner and I froze the rest for the end of the week. I ran to the store when Mike got home, and got enough groceries for dinners through next week. When I got home, I made Spaghetti sauce that I froze and also, Sausage and Egg Casserole. That's in the refrigerator and all Mike has to do is stick it in the oven today. Tonite, I'm making my Poor Man Steak to freeze for the rest of the week. I LOVE making my meals ahead of time. It's awesome for a busy, working family and makes our life MUCH less stressful! I also made Hunter's lunch and snack for today and Hannah's bottles. When Mike got home, all I wanted him to do is REST and enjoy his day.
*
Today, I'm having this X-RAY at the hospital so the Doctor can look at the Small Intestines and Bowels. That's what was exposed when my incision opened after my second Cesarean. They think that, because of the trauma, I have a Bacterial Infection, which is causing all the pain. They just have to rule out anything else. I also have some Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which makes sense. I'm just praying I can get some answers soon.
*
My test is at 8:15 A.M. and I can't have anything this morning. They say it could take two hours and afterwards, I'm going to Subway for lunch. I'm getting a BIG sub and I can't wait. Funny, huh? It's been a little frustrating, not being able to eat but it makes you remember all we have to be thankful for. I know I have so much to be thankful for and we all take it for granted. I love this time of the year because it really makes me appreciate my life, my health and my family.
*
We're counting the days down to our trip to Disney World. December 6Th we leave and we can hardly wait. Hunter keeps asking me how much longer:)
Hope everyone has a great day. God Bless!!
