Hunter's Teacher

Hunter's Speech Teacher
He's such a BIG boy..
Check out the crowd we had! I was taking the picture and Hunter was playing. He was so excited and a little overwhelmed, I let him play. He had NO interest in a picture when there were play toys around..

They're supervising..LOL!
There was a lot of people around so they were watching from a far..

Hunter draws his Family Tree

"See?"
Now, he hangs it on the Bulletin BoardThis is the Before and After School Program that he'll go to. This is the Lunch and Snack Room.

This is the Play Room, with lots of centers

Hunter and Uncle Jeff, playing
Dad, holding Hannah so I could take LOTS of pictures
We had a wonderful Night at Hunter's Open House. It's such a nice school and I'm excited for him. Since Maw Maw and Pa Pa were out of town for over three weeks, I think he was joined at the hip to Maw Maw. It was really cute! WOW...did he miss her! He was very excited to see his new school but did get a little overwhelmed. He almost cried. I know it was scary. there were so many people but we were so thankful for them to all the be there!!
have a great weekend! We're headed to Williamsburg camping! God Bless!

Is it a Wash Out Wednesday?

Good Morning, Everyone. It looks very cloudy and dark here. I'm wondering if it's going to be a rainy day...hmmmm

No time to post pictures today. I'm getting ready to color my hair before Hunter gets up and we have breakfast. I hate having grey hair at age 32 :( It's been a busy week, trying to get everything ready for camping this weekend and School next week. I'm SO excited for Hunter!

Last night, my best friend, Robin took me to The Melting Pot for my birthday, which was INCREDIBLE. If you haven't ever gone, you really should try it out. It isn't cheap, to say the least but they have lots of specials, and it's great for a Special Occasion too.

Tonite, I have an appointment to get my hair cut after work and then, I'm hoping to pack up our camper. Tomorrow is Hunter's Open House, where we get to meet his teacher. We're so excited! But I know I won't have time to pack up tomorrow.

I hope it isn't gloomy the entire weekend but at least, we're away from home and having a great time. Hope you all have a great Wednesday!!

Quick Update

Hey, Everybody!! Happy Monday!
We had a busy weekend but it was wonderful. We had a delicious Dinner/Date Night Friday. Hunter spent the night with Grandma and Grandad but Hannah went home with us. I knew I'd have to feed her several times. Saturday, we went to the pool and played for a while and then hung out at home. It was fun. We all went to bed by 8:30! Sunday, we had Church, a visit with the grandparents, rest time at home for everyone except me and a trip to Walmart. I had to pick up some things before going to our Sunday School Class Fellowship at Church. We had hamburgers, Pasta Salad, chips and yummy dessert. I'll post pictures later but this morning has already proven to be crazy. But great. I was cleaning until 11:30 last night and up at 5:30, making Meatloaf for tonite. It just came out of the oven and smells DELICIOUS! I' ve already packed up almost everything for camping this weekend and hope to get all of it in the camper tonite. Tomorrow, I'm having Dinner at The Melting Pot with my BF Robin, getting my hair cut on Wednesday, and going to Open House at Hunter's school on Thursday. This week, I'll be ironing all our outfits for next week and making all the meals for next week to freeze. I don't want to have to do it on Monday when we get home. This organizing thing is WONDERFUL =)
Have a great day and God Bless!!

FINALLY Friday

Well, Friday is finally here and I can't wait. We were supposed to be going to Little Creek (Norfolk, Va.) to see Sara Evans but I changed my mind. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE Sara Evans but I'm going to get off late, drive over there and then, not be able to see well through all the crowds. Mom and Dad are keeping Hunter overnight and I'm down because of it. I like looking at him while he sleeps, knowing he's OK. I know he will be OK but I'll miss him terribly. We're planning to pick Hannah up on the way home. She's so young and I feed her so much. SO, we decided to use some TGI Friday's Gift Cards and have Dinner out. We'll be close by. I'm just too tired to drive all that way to not be able to enjoy the concert. I'm just not into it right now. I'm looking forward to Date Night with my husband. Can't WAIT!

Mike doesn't have to work after all this Saturday so we can spend some time together. He's going to go down and buy 16 tickets for all our family to go to Disney on Ice in October. I can't wait. We're going to Disney World two months later so it will be really fun! I'll probably pick up the kids and clean up a little until the pool opens. Hunter is dieing to go and I wouldn't mind going myself. I'm hoping to get a little scrapping done in the afternoon and then, we're going to try to hit the City Center Movie. Not sure what's playing but it will be a good time, I'm sure.

I ran into Michael's tonite and got some glue, chipboard accessories and paper for my projects. I guess I'll try my hand at the Word Album this weekend. Can't wait.

Sunday afternoon, we're having a fellowship with our Sunday School Class that should be fun. It's nice to get together with friends. We're both looking forward to it.

I can't believe next weekend is Labor Day Weekend! And the first day of school is the Tuesday after. WOW! I need to get my hair cut, get a pedicure, pack up the camper and go to School for Orientation this coming week. It should be busy.

I can hardly keep my eyes open so I'm headed to bed. Good Night and Sweet Dreams!

A Little Shopping Therapy

Mike let me run in the LSS in Va. Beach on the way home from camping this weekend. It was TOO much fun. I got some good stuff. Some new paper ....I think I'm becoming an addict. I have a huge stand of paper but like having JUST the right look when I'm scrapping. I got some new stickers to do of Hunter's first Dental Exam. He did really well and the other Hygienist got a TON of pictures for us! And my favorite find...I finally got my first Bo Bunny Word Album. These are becoming so popular and I'm hoping to do one for each of my kiddos. I wish I could find one for Hunter that said something like Boy or All Boy or similar. I know there is a store on EBAY that sells several different words and will make any special requests. I'm looking into that. I can't wait to give this a try. I'm SO nervous. I've been looking online for ideas. I just need to get some new adhesive and some embellishments from Michael's this week. I also got this small daisy book that I thought about putting pictures in it of my family and putting it on my desk at work. We'll see! Any tips and tricks you can share for the chipboard albms? I could use them, I'm sure. I think I'll work on those Saturday while the kids sleep.
Not sure what we're doing. I know we have a little cleaning to do. (just vacuuming, dusting, etc) I'd like to go to the pool during the day and to our local City Center for a movie Saturday night. Sometime, this weekend, I need to fit in a pedicure before the Holiday Weekend. Tomorrow, we're going to see Sara Evans in Concert and can't wait!! She's one of my favorites!!

Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday...SO glad tomorrow is Friday. God Bless!

The Jumping Pillow

This is The Jumping Pillow at The Virginia Beach KOA. My parents came up for the day to spend with us and it was FUN! I can't believe my Dad jumped so much. I think he really loved it. Hunter loves it too but gets a bit nervous when he can't stand up. We went camping back in May here but I wasn't able to jump since I was pregnant. It was such a blast, jumping with Dad, Mike and Hunter this time. My mom has problems with her knees and shoulder sometimes so she didn't join us that much. But she did get on once and had a good time for just a jump or two.
We stopped by the pool afterwards since we were HOT and tired!

BIG Jumps

Oh My Gosh..a little higher than I expected!
Here's Mike...he did a flip!

Grandad needs a REST!

Mike and Hunter at the pool

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday. It's been busy at work, which makes the day go by fast. Last night, we went to Hunter's school right after work for a meeting. I'm glad we'll be home tonite. Tomorrow, we're celebrating my Dad and Grandmother's birthday for Dinner.

Have a happy Hump Day!

Fun At The Aquarium

Holy Cow!

Hunter got to pet a real baby Alligator. That was a little eerry for me!
Hunter and Grandma really liked the Shark Mouth

I really liked this crab, because I LOVE crabs....Steamed Ones:)
(Just Kidding)
This was a really neat exhibit..it looked liked you were walking through a great big Forrest
While we were there, Hannah learned how to FINALLY get that thumb in her mouth. Aaaawww.....
And this is me, looking really rough, as we were unpacking the camper on Sunday. I got alot done with Hannah in her carrier. She had been fed, changed, burped but just wanted to be held. This was her first time and she LOVED it! And an advertisement in the museum. We've never checked it out but will have to real soon.
We LOVE some Disney!
Well, these are some of my Aquarium pictures. Tomorrow, I'll have pictures of us all jumping on The Jumping Pillow at the campground. FUN
We're going to Hunter's School Orientation for Parents tonite. Have a great Tuesday!

My Poor Baby

Well, Hannah had her four shots and one oral medicine on Friday. It was horrible to watch. She was just laying there and WOW! She screamed like I had never heard her before. She cried all the way home. She fell asleep and then woke up crying. We actually DID have a great time camping though. She calmed down but wasn't quite herself. Today, I'm just posting this sweet face in some pain. But she looked cute in her Barbie band-aids... (sigh...)
This week, I'll have some more pictures of us camping, us jumping on the Jumping Pillow, fun at the Aquarium, the pool, Hannah learning t0, finally, get that thumb in her mouth and some new stuff from the scrapbooking store in Virginia Beach.
Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

It WAS a Fabulous Friday!

Hunter's New Clothes
His New BIG Shoes
Hannah's New Pretty Outfits
And a new sweater.
We got this dress for Hannah months ago at the Disney store, well before she was born. Everything was on clearance and this dress was, literally, only a couple dollars. We actually got two sizes and whichever one doesn't fit, we plan to sell on EBay. But it's sleeveless and we needed a sweater to go with it. We're going to Disney World in December and both the kids have almost all Disney themed clothes to wear. (found mostly on clearance the season before) We can't wait!
*
We had a FABULOUS Friday and got everything done that we had on our list. Grandma (my mom) went with us and it was a nice time. We started out with Hunter's appointment at the PEEPS Center, where they evaluated his Speech for the new school year. He's doing much better but still needs Speech Therapy. That's OK with us and him. He doesn't mind, he learns alot and we are thankful for the progress he has made.
*
After the meeting was over, we headed for Williamsburg. We ate lunch at Chick Fil A so we wouldn't have to stop to eat later. It was yummy, as usual.
*
We went to the Stride Right Outlet and had him measured for new shoes. OH MY GOSH! We found him a nice pair of shoes that are SIZE TWO! He didn't need the Wide Width this time but their shoes are wider anyway. They're really cute but no more kid stuff. No more Fire Engines, Super Heroes and Police Cars. My baby is growing up. He's in Big Boy shoes now.
*
Next door is the Carter's Outlet and I'm hooked. They have the cutest clothes! We picked up two sleepers for Hunter but they're for Christmas. One his cute Dinosaurs, because that's the mascot for his new school. The one one is cute little animals. They'll be nice for camping and skiing trips. He really had alot of good clothes in his closet that still fit him so we picked up a nice pair of sweat pants and several shirts.
*
Hannah got two beautiful sleepers she can wear this Winter. Lovely lavender and sweet lambs. Everything was on sale and I even had a coupon. Unfortunately, the coupon was on my dresser. SO, now I have a good excuse to come back.
*
Hannah had her 4:15 appointment so that was our last stop before heading home to finish packing the last few things in the camper. She now weighs twelve pounds and ten ounces and is twenty four inches long. I think she's going to be tall. She is SUCH a Chunky Monkey!
*
Our Doctor said she can get her ears pierced at six months old so that's something to look forward to. (you can do it earlier but he doesn't suggest it and I wouldn't want to) She got her four shots and one oral medicine fast but she still screamed like I had NEVER heard her before. She was very upset and I nearly cried, just watching her. She cried most of the trip home and then slept for a while. She woke up happy but still not quite herself. It really bled a good amount when she got them and I know it hurt. I'll post the band aid pictures later. My Poor Baby!
*
We just woke up in Virginia Beach and it's a beautiful day! We're getting ready to eat breakfast then, hoping to head to the beach and the pool. A YUMMY Seafood Dinner tonite and lots of fun all day long. The sun is shining in the camper, as Hunter finishes another Mickey Mouse puzzle. He loves puzzles and does really well. This puzzle says it's for ages five and up. The people we talked to yesterday said that academically, he was VERY advanced, above agerage on almost everything. He knew ALOT of information for his age. We've never been more proud of him. Not because he's above average but because he is so eager to learn. He's a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets and is so considerate of others. We are so proud so sorry if I brag for a moment!
Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend!!
