~Just A Matter Of Time~ UPDATED

Wow, I almost forgot how to log in to Blogger it's been so long since I posted. It's been busy lately; very, very busy the last couple weeks. But it's been great. Lots to be done and lots of time with the family.

-
My bathroom remodel will probably be done this week, I have a new floor in my kitchen and foyer, my son and his, soon to be sister have a new room, most of the walls in my house are freshly painted and my house is FINALLY clean! (which is not an easy thing to do when you're moving things around as much as we've done lately)
-
There's still a couple things we want to check off our To Do list before the baby but this week is all about Hunter. Tuesday is his birthday. I'm taking an extended lunch to spend some time with him at his school. They have a special time for everyone on their birthday that the parents are invited to share in. Then, Friday, Mike and I are off to get some pictures taken, and spend some quality time with him. We'll end the evening at Chuck E Cheese's and maybe a movie. (He's been DIEING to see the new Dr. Seuss movie) I can't wait!
-
This weekend, we're having a birthday party Saturday at TNT, a warehouse with LOTS of the blow up jumping rooms and slides and a cookout Sunday with some family. The following weekend is camping at the beach with more family; can't wait to start the camping season! Lots of things going on and hoping to get everything on the list done. But, enjoying every moment trying to get there:)
-
We've taking lots of breaks to spend time with Hunter. I don't want him to feel left out or that we're not spending enough time with him. He's our world and we've had a great weekend with him!

I went to the Doctor this week and it looks like I'm definitely having another Cesarean. I have to call tomorrow morning (Monday) to schedule the date. I may know VERY soon when I'm going to have this baby. She seems to be big also but not as big as my Hunter. They want me to have her before I may go into labor on my own. Even if I do, they still plan to do a repeat Cesarean. (which is fine by me) I still feel great and can't seem to stop cleaning and working around the house. (after working a 40 hour work week) I'm not a quitter, a rester. I love getting things done and I hate going to bed before so!
I DID go to a wedding Saturday night for a dear friend I went to high school and church with. We waited at the reception for a while outside before the Dinner was served. It was a wonderful time but by the time I got home, my feet were swollen double their size! I soaked them and kept them elevated but it was a bit scary how bad they looked.
Today, they're better but I was cleaning all day again. I had so much to do, from moving things around when my new floor was installed this past week.
-
Looks like Monday will be a wash out but hope everyone has a great day/week anyway. We're going to Dinner to celebrate my brother's 36Th birthday. (It was April 15Th)
Take care and God Bless!
**UPDATE**
June 9Th is the day for my scheduled Cesarean Surgery! We can't wait....we're counting the days down now!

The Bride and Groom

This is Robert and Delores, my Sunday School Teacher and his Fiance. We went to a Bridal Shower for them on Sunday afternoon at Church and had a great time. They're getting married soon out of state but we'll celebrate with them at a Reception when they return.
What a beautiful cake, and beautiful couple!!
Congrats, You Guys! We're all so happy for you both!

Before we left home, I ran out and took some pictures of the flowers in my yard. I didn't plant more tulips this past Fall like I wanted to. It had been a year or two but I thought the few that popped up turned out great. I LOVE Flowers and Gardening. I get FILTHY when I work in the yard but I'm happy! It's hard to get me inside when I've been in the yard all day. This Saturday is supposed to be warm so if I can get outside early in the morning, before the rain, Hunter and I are planning to plant some more Spring flowers. He puts them in the ground, just like I advise him and even has his own gardening gloves and watering can. He's looking forward to helping me. He seems to LOVE working in the yard, like I do. I think it gives him a wonderful sense of accomplishment to see what he had a hand in creating. These aren't the prettiest but they're ours! It felt SO good to be behind my camera again!!
I pulled weeds last week but this weekend, we're planning to pick up two loads of mulch, paint our new bathroom, paint our Computer Desk, plant flowers and finish up with some boxes to go to the Thrift Store. We should be busy but I think we'll be close to finishing with the Honey Do List for each other:) The only other thing we'd like to do before the baby comes is paint our other bathroom and update it. I'm getting a little tired from all the "Nesting" but I feel like I have a new house! It's amazing what a gallon of paint on the walls can do to a room! I actually got THREE pages done in Hannah's album too and just ordered a couple more pictures to do this weekend. Busy, Busy, Busy!

OK, well, it's been a great week. I'm headed to bed. Thank God tomorrow is Friday! I'm looking forward to my weekend. I'm planning to do a little shopping Saturday with my BF to pick up some Mother's Day Gifts, while Hunter takes a nap. Hope you have a wonderful time and are able to get out and enjoy the wonderful weather =) God Bless!!
**Prayer Request**
Please say a prayer for Robert's father. He fell earlier this week and broke his hip. He's had surgery and will be recovering for a litle while. Thanks so much for your prayers!

A Much Needed Evening

My BF and I went out to Dinner last night and had an awesome time! Originally, Mike was going to be painting our NEW bathroom before it was finished and things got moved in. But the walls weren't completely ready yet to be painted so they went to TNT for Family Night. They had Taco Bell for dinner and then, jumped the night away. I needed to find a dress for a wedding in two weeks and a new pair of shorts for the warmer temps coming up. Well, I found both! Robin helped me pick out a ton of adorable dresses (mostly baby doll style) that I tried on and she, SO graciously offered her honest advice and put dress after dress back on the rack. We did manage to find a couple that we liked though...

This is the one that I bought for the wedding
And this is the one SHE bought for me!!
**
Since I was getting the shorts, I needed to be thrifty and decided to get only one of the dresses. After I paid, the person at the register handed me another bag and told me she had got this for me! What a sweet friend! I'm wearing this one today, with a cute white crinkle blouse over top...can't wait. I came home and modeled all my new clothes for Mike and was so excited. They just don't make sexy clothing for pregnant women, but I'm pretty pleased. I want to look good for the wedding. My dad is babysitting and I have a date with my hubby! (We could use it...LOL....We've been getting on each other's nerves lately, staying busy at home.) We're both "Home Improvement Junkies" and just can't stop lately!!
**
So, today's post is all about my best friend. It's been crazy lately and we've all been tied up. I've been getting nervous about getting things done before the baby comes, emotional since I cried at a country music song today while in the Car Pool Line at Hunter's school and tired of not having all the energy I'm used to. She really made my day and made me realize we ALL need a little time away sometimes. Mike is going out with my brother and HIS best friend to Dinner tonite since they could all use a little stress reliever. I'm happy they'll have a night out and looking forward to the evening with my little man.
**
Hunter has an imaginary friend now. (actually not so imaginary, in a way) His "special friend" is Darby from "Tiger and Pooh". He watches her in the mornings on the Disney Channel and I think he has a crush on her. Well, she's been by his side all afternoon and he's happy as he can be. How sweet! He's really growing up and I love his kind spirit. He truly cares about people and I love to watch him play!
**
We're almost finished our work at home. We still need to go through a couple boxes, drop a ton of stuff off at the Thrift Store, paint our Computer Desk and our old bathroom, then REST. Sometime this week or weekend, Hunter and I are going to plant some flowers and we're picking up two truck loads of mulch for our flower beds. I LOVE Spring!!
(Hunter loves to help me in the yard too and help me water all the flowers. I hope he has a love for Gardening like I do!)
*
We're getting some Family/Maternity pictures done at the beach in May, as well as going camping for Mother's Day. It'll be nice to have some things to look forward to after all the hard work. I'll try to update more tonite. I've been told by about five people my blogging is slowing down and I need to get busy. More pictures to come!! Thanks for the interst!
I hope everyone has a happy Hump Day! Enjoy your friends and tell them what they mean to you. Mine made my day:)

It's Super Saturday

WOW!! It's calling for rain today but right now, it's WONDERFUL. We're all headed outside to play. Mike is getting ready to cut the grass, and I'm changing clothes so we can enjoy the temps. (and not even 10 AM yet) It's warm with a slight breeze and I'm SO ready for Spring. I'll be cleaning up the backyard and porch while Hunter plays with his Diego ball. Hope to plant some flowers later, clean up a couple closets while Hunter takes a nap and have Family time tonite. I want to clean up my Scrap area and play with some new Cricut Carts I just got while we all watch a movie. This day couldn't get any better...even if it does rain!!

Have a SUPER Saturday and God Bless!!
