Busch Baby

Couldn't resist these cute pictures of Hunter, Grandma and Grandad. I'm not sure who has more fun! We went to Busch Gardens Friday night, just to get out and so my dad could get his pass. We had a good time. Hunter LOVES to look at the horses and ride the little rides. He's going through one of those stages, though, where he doesn't want to ride some things without Mom or Dad. It's really sweet but I hate he doesn't get to ride some things. He's perfectly content walking or riding in the stroller. He didn't want to leave the Clydesdales this time. He just looks amazed when he sees them:) He loves to jump so Grandad offered to jump with him! They looked so funny down the bridge past Italy, jumping and laughing together. Had to put them out here to share. What can I say...they're in LOVE! We had a busy weekend. We were all at Water Country by 10 on Saturday, as soon as they opened. He screams when he sees the water he is so excited. He loves to float around Hubba Hubba Highway. What a little fish we have on our hands:) We've been going a lot on Saturdays, from the time they open until about 1. Hunter has a ball, we eat lunch and then he goes down for his nap. He is such a good sleeper. He'd sleep until noon if you let him sometimes! He still takes a good 3-4 hour nap everyday! Talk about sleeping good...for Hunter AND Mom and Dad:)

Playing at the Park

Mike suprised me last Thursday by picking me up at work. He refused to tell me where we were going. Actually, he didn't say anything at all. We probably got a mile down the road before I smelled chicken. He said I was crazy but still wouldn't tell me where we were going. He had already picked up Hardees chicken, drinks and everything for a perfect picnic. He is SO romantic and thoughtful for doing that for us! We had a really nice dinner and then we watched Hunter play on the playgound. We also got to see the ducks. One of the ladies that worked there gave Hunter some corn to throw to them. He was so cute with it in his hand. He didn't know WHAT to do at first but got to throwing it to them pretty well. She also told us where to go so we could see some of the baby deer. We were really quiet and sneaked a close peek at them. They were so interesting to watch. It's really pretty out there. The reflections on the lake, the golf club and all the signs of nature were really refreshing to watch. We really take for granted all the things of nature we have in the area. It was so relaxing, just taking our time and enjoying the evening together:)

Nutty Buddy or Chicken Leg

Hunter had his first nutty buddy and I think he's in love!. I think he has it confused with a chicken leg though! He didn't waste any time with the nuts on top. He bit right in the side! He looked like he was in Heaven! After the sugar kicked in, he played with his bib on his head and thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen! I love to see him smile! Those smiling eyes just light right up! He is such a joy! I had to get milk from Walgreens and somehow, the nutty buddies were CALLING my name from across the store. So, I got us all each one since we've been doing good on our diet lately. Everyone needs an occasional treat, right? Well, just thought I'd share a silly photo of my little angel:)

What a Blessing!

This is a picture of my 2 boys. My husband, Mike and son, Hunter are SUCH a blessing! Mike can brighten my day in a heartbeat. I can just be having one of those days where you just need a good cry. He can make me laugh before I get past my foyer! Hunter has those "smiling eyes" that would make you cry just because you feel so lucky to have him. I'm not trying to brag...I just thank GOD every day for them to be in my life. It's hard to believe that some people have hard feelings against family members and don't see them or speak to them. Life is SO short and you really never know when it's your last day on earth. Ok, enough preaching! I just felt like I needed to say publicly, THANK YOU GOD! Have a great day and don't forget to let your family and friends know what they mean to you.
*This picture was taken at
McDonalds a couple weeks ago. Mike was off that day to get our cars inspected. That small amount of time we spent together eating breakfast was so nice. It really made a great start to my day:) *
