More Weekend Pictures

FINALLY got a chance to post some pics from the Yankee Candle Store. It was so much fun...I think we had as much fun as Hunter. Hunter couldn't WAIT to see Santa, even going to him and letting him hold him:) I wanted to get a picture of Santa in his sleigh with the Winter Scenery but they have a contract with the company they rent the sleigh from that they be the only ones that can take pictures:( Santa saw me interested and actually told me he'd meet me in the Holiday Park if I wanted to get some pictures with my son. They said he is such a nice Santa, they think he'd work for free if I had to. He was wonderful. The penguins were so cool..I couldn't resist them!! Hunter picked them up and hugged them. Then, he saw Curious George in the Toy shop. He watches him every morning and laughs so cute when he comes on. But the TRAIN always gets the undivided attention. I think we are going to get him a train and/or train table for his birthday in April. His Maw Maw and PawPaw got him a race track for his birthday this past year and he loves it. He pulls it out every afternoon and plays with it so I know he will love a train set as well. No matter where we go, he always goes straight to the trains:)

Sunday already...

WOW..it seems like the weekends go by so quick, and then I go back to work and the week goes by fast too. Time is flying anymore! We were busy this weekend. We didn't have too much to do at home except some laundry and some bills to pay. I'm finishing the laundry tonight and gotta pay bills tomorrow. UGH! I hate paying bills. I don't know why..I use the Bill Payer and I get to sit right at my computer and pay them. But it's depressing for me. It shouldn't be. I pay my offering to church and somehow, I always have enough. Thank God for small miracles! Anyway, I have some more pictures at the Yankee Candle Store. I also have some from today. I couldn't get them to load and don't have the patience to worry with it...I'll try tomorrow. We went to church and then did a little Christmas shopping. One of my stops was the Bass Pro Shop. I was just going to run in and get a gift card but suggested we all go in so Hunter can see the Aquarium. He SQUEELED with delight...loved to see the fish! We went to the Baltimore Aquarium about 3 years ago while we were camping and it was really interesting. We're already planning to go one weekend this Spring again. I know my little guy will love it! After we got home, Hunter took a great nap while I folded clothes and cleaned our bedroom. Mike cleaned out our garage and it looks so nice. We had a lot of junk we had to get rid of and over the last couple months, have gotten rid of a lot of it! Now, everything is organized and there's a place for everything. Mike even used part of his Christmas present, a large shelving unit and some hooks for our bikes. We usually get each other just a little something since we have everything we could ever want or need. Anyway, Hunter is getting ready to go nite nite so gotta go read and rock a little. Overall, we had a laid back weekend having some fun. I'm looking forward to wrapping some presents this week. I think I'll be done all my Christmas shopping in the next couple days..YA! Hope everyone has a great week!

Scenic Sedatives..

That's what I got today...some scenic sedatives:) Sounds funny, right? Well, I forgot my medicine for my panic attacks at work:( I had some serious chest pains Friday near the end of the day and was ready to leave. So, Mike, Hunter and I went to Williamsburg today and had such a relaxing afternoon, I didn't need them. (Thank God) We ate at Pierces's Pitt Barbecue, went to Stride Rite Outlet, went paddle boating and then finished our day at the Yankee Candle Store. It was breathtaking, relaxing, romantic and a complete blast for all of us. We were trying to get a couple pairs of shoes for Hunter from the Outlet. We get most of his shoes there since his feet are so wide. They didn't have anything and they were really high in price anyway. We're going to check around at JCPenney's and a couple other places and see..The only thing we got were some tarts and a large candle that was a Christmas gift. It was wonderful there...I can't believe how long we were gone today..Didn't get home until around 6:30. I'm tired. We sat down and finished watching RV, after Hunter went to bed. It was funny! I'll post some more pics later. Blogger wants to be difficult:( Hopefully, tomorrow after church and my errands around here, I can start on a new album. It's a small 8x8 album I'd like to finish for Christmas for my aunt. Her husband died several years ago from Cancer and this will be a Memory album for her. I'm excited to see how it turns out. He was like another Grandfather to me and I think this will be so special for us all. I'll try to post some pics later and might do some changes to my blog:) Have a great night!!

Friday night Fun

What an INCREDIBLE Friday night. We went to our favorite Hot Dog Hangout, Hot Dog King. It's definitely one of those hole in wall but great food places to eat. They have the best hot dogs. My mom spent the night with us since my dad was out of town. Hunter had a blast with Grandma too!! She talked me into a foot long AND an order of chili and cheese fries. I guess she doesn't think I eat enough these days. (Total weight loss now 27 pounds:) Hunter was obsessed with the straws. I think he was putting a straw in MY drink for each one of us..He's so silly! He just looked funny sipping out of 1 of his 3 straws:) We went home and watched RV. I love that movie!! NO movie is complete without popcorn so Mike made us all some. It was yummy. Hunter sits nicely and holds his own bowl...He's only two and a half..So why does he look so grown up? Then, we went to brush his teeth. He LOVES brushing his teeth. We help him and he opens up wide and then he can do his own when we're done doing the "real job". Well, the last couple nights, Mike helped him so I can get his bed and bag ready. He got right in the sink to wash his mouth out! I kinda figured he picked this up from Daddy since he does the same thing. (only with his hand and a little more sanitary) I started cracking up!! It's amazing what they pick up. We were all in stitches over that one!! Anyway, he went to bed great and I got an adorable shot of him sleeping. I have lots of those. He just looks so sweet and peaceful. (he also likes to take his clothes off, diaper and all, so we have to check to make sure he is STILL CLOTHED:) He's growing up so fast. Happy ...But sad.....
We had an incredible Friday night, mostly at home, just the way I like it :) Now, off to Williamsburg to get some new shoes, go to the Yankee Candle Factory and enjoy the day together. Hoping to get some great seasonal pictures..Christmas can't get here any soon enough for me!! We've got lots of plans with the festivities of Christmas; including a holiday party at our house with some friends before the Grand Illumination in Williamsburg. I've never been and we can't wait!!

Thanking God for small blessings

I found this awesome Christmas book at Barnes and Noble last year for $7 on clearance. We read it last night. Hunter sat in my lap over a half hour and just listened. He loves books! We have a tradition of reading "Twas the Night before Christmas" every Christmas Eve. We just did it early this year:) We are ALL getting excited about the holidays this year!!!
Hunter got up early today and crawled in bed with us..it was nice:) He usually doesn't like it in our bed since he likes his own so much. That's wonderful since he hasn't slept with us very much but it is nice to snuggle up with him, you know. Mike is off today because of the government holiday. So, he made us blueberry muffins and took care of Hunter this morning. On the days he's off he likes to get him dressed, feed him breakfast and take him to daycare since he doesn't usually get to see him in the morning. It was really nice spending time with him before work. It makes my day:) He's truly my best friend. He's going running with a friend of his today. They work together and usually go when they're both off. He and I are going tomorrow afternoon after Hunter's nap. I haven't felt like doing much this week I've been so down. But today, I feel great and am so thankful for the blessings in my life. I think we might go to the Stride Ride Outlet in Williamsburg tomorrow to get Hunter a couple pairs of new shoes and maybe just enjoy the day. I'd LOVE to finish my shopping tomorrow...hmmm... I'd like to get some fall pictures. We need to cut the grass this weekend also and I'm hoping to plant some flowers. I *LOVE* working in the yard. It's fun to sit back and see what we've accomplished when we're done. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend:)

*Oh this is the card from my friend Becky from Church. She is one of the most thoughtful people I know!!*

Update

Well, my appointment went well today. Well, meaning I got some information. There are still concerns. My Doc told me that it's still possible I could have had some sort of stroke. He said that sometimes, a stroke may not show up right away on a CAT scan. Sometimes, taking another one a couple days later it will appear. He agreed that things do look suspicious for MS or some sort of stroke and that I needed to be seen. We also talked about what if. If this is something like either of those, then so what? I just move on and it's NOT the end of the world. So, why do I feel so scared? He said that it could always be stess but he doesn't think so. He also gave me some medicine for the panic attacks. I had one right in his office and cried the whole way there. It's just so many emotions; not knowing, thinking about what it could be, stress of other things..
Anyway, he -took care of buisness- and I have a MRI Tuesday. That would show a lot. I also have my regular appointment Dec 6 still with the neurologist and Dec 1st I have another test. (I think a sensory test) I'm glad that I'm finally going to get some answers and put this stress behind me. I just want to enjoy my vacation at DisneyWorld. It's going to be a dream come true..I just need to destress...YESTERDAY!

**UPDATE** Making 2 cards and having a relaxing night. Just watched my favorite Grey's Anatomy which was AUSOME! Also, working on getting ready to do lots of "scrappin'" this weekend, loading some layouts and trying to make a new banner with a picture of mine. Spending the evening with my darling husband, who has been so good to me through this rough time. I also received a beautiful card today from my friend, Becky. Thanks so much. It was so sweet!

A Celebration of 10 Years then some Family Fun

Today, I went to a great restaurant with the credit union that I work with because I've been with them for ten years. They have a luncheon for every five years of service for their employees. This is the pin they gave me. I also have a solid gold one with just the credit union symbol I got before . The food was delicious and we were so stuffed when we left! It's nice to work for a company that really rewards us in so many ways. I have a lot of pride in my job and really LOVE what I do. I'm so thankful every day that I'm five minutes from home and my son's daycare. My manager, supervisor and co-workers are like family and we really get along great. I'm very lucky!!
Tonite, Hunter and I worked on his alphabet on the fridge (forgive my flannel pj's)It's hard to believe he just turned two and a half. He's so big. But he's doing good on the alphabet and knows his first numbers to 5. I asked him if he liked to color, sarcastically of course. He sported a big YES with a great big smile. He's so happy and I couldn't wait to play tonite with him.

Well, I have an appointment with my PCP tomorrow morning to see if he can get me in with the neurologist earlier. Just a insurance technicality he needs to see me but I'm excited anyway. He's really thorough and hard to see sometimes. I'm still worried sick I might have MS, still having severe numbness, tingling and fatigue and on top of that, I've had horrible panic attacks all week. I try to breathe through them but it's so scary. It's so uncomfortable and the just not knowing is unbearable. Hopefully, I'll have some more answers tomorrow. Please continue to pray for my family. I've just been so stressed that I'm really not myself. I miss the play time with Hunter and Mike. I can't wait to be over this. Sorry to be so down..I just do what I can during the day but at night, I'm exhausted and know I go to bed just to lay there awake. Hoping tonite will be different ...

Movie Night

Tonite, We watched the new movie, CARS. It was really fun. Mike picked it up tonite from the Disney Store, where we had preordered it. We also had a coupon that we got to use on a Lightening Mcqueen car and a Mickey t-shirt. He liked his car! (so did Baily...had to watch
him:( Anyway, I went to Olive Garden for dinner with some friends. They took me out to cheer me up..it worked..thanks, Guys!! Then, came home in time to watch the movie with the guys. It was so cute...I'm in love with Mater! It was lots of happy family time together and defentley took my time off this crazy week. Hope everyone has a great "HUMP" day. I have a luncheon today I've been invited to, paid for by the credit union I work at. I've been there 10 years this year and I get a new gold pin. Can't wait to see some friends I don't get to see very often. Take care! (Only 1 more day until Grey's Anatomy) The week is defentley loking up..hopefully:)

Staying Busy...

Just wanted to share some of my treasures from my "Shopping Therapy" on Sunday. I got a sample of the Magnolia Blossom lotion from Bath and Body Works. It smells so yummy and these little lotion sizes are great! The little loaf crocks are perfect for neighbors and friends. I got these 2 and 2 others with gingerbread and Christmas tress on them from Michael's for only $1. I may go back for a couple more. Went to Dollar Tree today just for some wrapping paper but ending up getting some more tape, labels, bows, and some Winter window clings for Hunter to hang in our dining room window. (on the back of the house of course:) I know he'll really like those. I love to wrap presents but can't stand it if I run out of something. I'd rather have more than not enough...it will last. I also got some really cool stickers and stamp sets. I thought the stamps would be great for some quick but cute holiday cards. I might work on those Wednesday night. (Tomorrow, I'm going to the Disney Store to pick up our new CARS DVD. I can't wait!!) Grandma and Grandad stopped by to see Hunter since Grandad has to go out of town this week. They were only here for a couple minutes but they had a nice visit. Hunter was running off that last bit of energy before bedtime. He loves going to bed...it's kinda sad:( We had a good system. He always wanted me to rock him first. Now, he is so ready to get in his bed he turns out his light, closes the door and makes sure he has all the afghans and his pacifier in hand. He's calling his bed too..he wants to get in and go to sleep. I'm glad he's so good but I miss our rocking time. We've done the same thing since he was a little baby. After he went to bed, I wrapped most of my presents and stacked them up while watching New Adventures of Old Christine. That show is so funny...it felt good to laugh. I know I was really stressed about my hand and leg getting sore and numb but had been feeling better since I got home. Now, I can feel my back and arms just tensing up, like it did today becuase I was worried. I just wanted to do some enjoyable things tonite since I could use anything to not make me think about what's going on. I had kindof a panic attack today because I could feel it coming on...it makes it worse. I know I need to relax and think positive but that's easier SAID then done. Well, Good night and hope everyone has a great day. It's supposed to be warm and around 70 here. What about our Fall? I'm so ready for it to get cold and have some Holiday fun. YA!

Shopping Therapy...

I didn't get much sleep last night. My hand fell asleep and was numb every position it was in. I tried to not let it bother me so I got up, opened the blinds, and let the beautiful day begin. Mike and I were scheduled to keep the nursery at church but Hunter was the only one there. We came home early, ate some lunch and then I did some Christmas shopping. Just me, ME TIME. It was so wonderful, and peaceful. I got some fall flowers on sale from Michael's. I needed a couple to fix my fall wreath that lost a couple flowers:( I got a small 8x8 black album that I want to take to Disney to get autographs and a 12x12 Disney album that is, actually, my Christmas present from Mike:) I was going there anyway and since there was a 50% off coupon in the paper for today only, I told Mike I didn't mind picking it up. I also went to Bath and Body Works. WOW! I love their lotions. Their scents are so healing. I was there to get a present so I only picked up a small Magnolia Blossom lotion sample for myself. I got a lot done on the Christmas presents. Hopefully, I can finish this week. I just want that to be done so that I can relax the rest of the season. I just want to not be stressed anymore. Tomorrow, I'm supposed to call around and see if I can get another appointment with the neurosurgeon. But it turns out that the office my appointment is in is a good one. My aunt is a nurse and she recommended a doctor that is in the same practice. She said that all of them are good there but he's the best. Hopefully, my PCP can get me in earlier. I'm supposed to be in Disney 3 days after that appintment and I DON'T want to go not knowing what the future holds. We'll see what happens but I'm trying to stay positive. My little boy was SO cute tonite. I really missed him but we had fun when I got home. He was adorable washing his hands tonite. He's so cute how he moves his step stool over to the sink, pushes up his sleeve and washes his hands with LOTS of soap. He's so grown up sometimes:) He makes my day and he made me smile tonite:) Mike knew I needed to be alone and get out so he had dinner ready for me, Hunter's bag done and Hunter all ready for bed after a bath, play time and a snack. He's so wonderful and I don't know what I'd do without my boys:) Mike will probably kill me for posting this picture but he's so cute:) I just love him! Goodnight

Ahhhh...Saturday at LAST

What a wonderful Saturday we've had. I cleaned and reorganized my cropping corner. I'm so excited. Everything is right where I can get it and organized. I also have room for the laptop so I can blog and email right in my den with the boys:) I also organized my leaning book shelf with my scrapbooks nicely arranged on the bottom shelf. I added some fall potpourri and had my pumpkin pie candle burning all day. The scents of Autumn filled my home and made me feel very happy. I have a couple cards to make tonite but probably won't do that until after Hunter man goes to bed. Mike cut the front and back yard while Hunter and I hung out inside. We played, watched some movies, got a bath, some lunch and down he went for a long afternoon nap. I played on the computer and did some changes to my blog. The yard looked so nice after Mike cut the grass. I went out and swept and cleaned up a bit before catching some shots from the street. I'm pretty happy with the yard but I'd still like to plant some pansies and bulbs soon. I LOVE working in the yard! My Uncle Marvin and Cousin Caleb surprised us to show off Marvin's new jeep. It's really cool, a beautiful Candy Apple Red and they look really cute driving in it. It was a nice visit and then I was COLD! I 've been bugging Mike for a fire in the fireplace so he went out and got some wood and made a nice fire. It was very relaxing and that's pretty much what I've done today. It's been great..I need more Saturdays like this one's been. I'm in a lot better mood than last night. I got up this morning, had blueberry muffins, got a nice bath and got back in a pair of flannel PJ's..there's nothing like it on a cold, Saturday. I even had my grandmother's homemade soup for lunch. It doesn't get better than that:) After Hunter goes to bed, Mike is going to help me scan in some of my scrapbook page layouts to post online. I can't wait..I enjoy everyone else's but have never bothered to post my own. I've got plenty of room on my newly organized crop table to work on it..ya! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend:)

What a start to a weekend...

Today has been such a long day..actually yesterday. I'm still wide awake after a long day. I didn't get back from the ER until after 11 and then had to pick up a peaceful, sleeping Hunter from my parents house. I didn't go to work Friday because I had to go to the Urgent Care Center that morning. I 've had severe knumbness and cold sensations in my right side, especially my hand and foot since Thursday night. I was on the computer for a while so thought maybe that's what it was. After not sleeping good at all last night and being much worse, I decided I needed to get it checked out. I was hoping to go to work and just keep an eye on it but I was really scared. I was afraid I had had some sort of stroke. They ran several tests, including an EKG, blood and urine test, and all the vitals but found nothing that could have caused what I was experiencing. I went to my parents to rest for the day but by the time Mike picked me up, I knew I needed to go to the ER. I called my doctor, who was on call and he said I needed to go right away and that even if I had some sort of stroke, it doesn't always show up on the regular exams. He suggested I go and get a CAT scan. I saw a really nice doctor, who looked like Dr. Burke on Grey's Anatomy. I got a kick out of that, since that's my favorite show these days and I had to smile:) After a CAT scan and several checks, nothing again. I have an appointment December 6th to see a neurologist. Apparentley, I have several symptoms of MS and so, I have to have a MRI to get tested. Great, I leave for Disney 3 days later. Hopefully, by God's grace, there will be another answer. But Mike and I are both scared. My pain is real and constant and I'm terrified. I know I'm not crazy and neither do the doctors I saw today. I can feel them touch my hand and foot but not like the other side. I have a wonderful husband, and an adorable son that I love very much and want to spend the rest of my very long life with. Why is this happening to me? I would like to ask that everyone that sees this message, please pray for us. We're hoping to get an earlier appointment. The ER doctor even suggested another office that might be able to see me earlier. He doesn't think I had a mini stroke but gave me a presciption for some sort of Aspirin just as a precaution, until I can see the specialist. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers. If I have to wait a month, I think I'll go crazy not knowing.
