Well it's a REALLY hot day here today so we're going out early to the Blue Bird Gap Farm. Can't wait....we've wanted to go for a while. Hunter is all excited. I'll have pictures later. Hope you all have a Happy Hump Day =)

A Little Outside Fun
We stayed home most of Saturday and Sunday so Hunter could rest. But by Sunday afternoon, he really wanted to run outside. We were planning to go to local Farm to see some animals but it had started to rain. We drove around, thinking we would go to the Indoor McDonald's to play. But it cleared up so we went to the park. Hunter got to run off a little energy and we ALL got to enjoy the Great Outdoors. It was muggy but a pretty nice afternoon. Here's some of my favorite shots of my little boy. He likes to be called Thing #1 now and he says Hannah is Thing #2. We're looking for shirts for them to wear on our Vacation to Florida in December. How funny!
OK, today, we're headed to Ruby Tuesdays for lunch with my Aunt Nancy and then, to Piccadilly a little later tonite to celebrate two birthdays. Last week, we had my mom and Pop's birthday.

A Wonderful Weekend
This was taken at Busch Gardens, where we went Sunday afternoon/early evening. We were planning to go Saturday but my tummy was hurting and so, we decided to stay at home. We watched Free Willy and I was able to finish some Announcements and Thank You notes. Sunday, we went to Church before visiting our Nanny Puckette and our Granny and Pa Pa. We didn't get to BG until about 6 and stayed until about 9. That's why I love having passes. We can go for a short period of time and still have fun. Hunter and I went on the Log Flume and they went on Dar Kastle, while I fed the baby. Even at night, it was SO hot!! The water ride felt great!!

Water Babies
He had swim lessons all week at the pool and we spent 3 days there afterwards. (and Water Country on Friday) He did SO well. He's treading water, using his arms and legs together to swim and walking by himself in the 3 feet. I'm so proud of him.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! We're playing with Hunter in the back yard today and planning to go to Busch Gardens this afternoon/evening. Tomorrow is Church and hopefully, visiting with our Grandparents. No matter what you do, hope it's a great one!! God Bless!

Busy Week
No, I didn't forget to post the pictures of my MIL, me and the kids at the pool. It seems that there is something wrong with my P&S camera or the memory card. I'm hoping that I can figure it out or get my DH to but it's been too busy. I've got some great pictures on there I DEFINITELY don't want to lose...sigh..
We were on the way to Church Sunday morning when we found out Mike's grandmother was being taken to the ER. Evidently, she has a large blood clot in her lung. I'd appreciate some prayers. We've been to see her that last two nights, and she looks great. She's in good spirits and she's in her 90's! We all love our Granny and hope for a speedy recovery.
Hunter has had swim lessons all this week from 9-9:30 and he's doing great!! He's actually swimming now and I'm so proud of him. Yesterday, I had a Baby shower in the evening so I went by the store to pick up a couple items. Today and tomorrow, I'll be at the pool. Today is with my MIL, SIL and cousin DNK, and Hunter and Hannah, of course. And tomorrow is with my good friend, Mel and her daughter Isabelle. Friday, we may try to go to Busch Gardens again for just a little while with the kids and then, dinner Friday night with some of our friends. Hunter is getting some pictures taken tomorrow morning and Hannah is getting newborn shots done tonite. What a busy week. But I love the summer. Warm temps, fun by the pool and relaxation. Hope you have a great day, no matter what you do and God Bless!

Great Weekend!
No pictures to post because my camera is in my car trunk, which my husband drove to work. We went to the pool yesterday with my Mother In Law and had a wonderful time! The weather was perfect..warm sun on our face and cool water temps. Hunter and I got a little sun but not too much. I'll be sure to post pictures later, when Mike gets home from work.
We planned to go to Busch Gardens last night but didn't quite make it. We stopped by the Credit Union to make a deposit and ended up visiting with the baby for a while. We went to Pierce's Pitt BBQ for Dinner but it was a little change of plans. While we were waiting for our number to be called, I gave Hannah her bottle. She had a BIG bowel movement, shortly after that I decided I'd change right away so we could all enjoy our dinner. They don't have a changing table so I used our back seat in the car. Thank God for changing mats!! She shot everywhere; up her back, on her arms, legs, UGH! We had a travel container FULL of wipes that were completely used up and she was still wearing it. After wet napkins and about 45 minutes of cleanup, we decided to head home. Believe it or not, I was wearing WHITE shorts and didn't get a bit of the diaper change evidence on me. But eating a chocolate chip cookie on the way home, I lost the battle! How funny!
We've got to run an errand or two this morning and then, I think we're headed to the pool again. After Mike leaves work, he's going to meet us there. It's supposed to be beautiful out today.
This afternoon/early evening, we're headed to Chili's for Dinner with the family for my Brother In Law's birthday. I'll probably make a card for him when I get home from the pool.

Hannah had her 1 month checkup on Thursday and she's healthy as a horse!! She now weighs 10 pounds, 6.5 ounces (birth weight was 8 pounds, 10 ounces), and she's 22.5 inches long! (birth length was 19.5 inches long) I can't believe how she's grown!! Dr. B was very impressed, thought she was doing wonderful and said to keep doing whatever works for us. He also couldn't believe how great I looked after what I had been through. That made me feel better, since I'm still a little discouraged. Still having pain and still swollen. I can get in my bigger, looser clothing but my favorite outfits are just TOO tight. I know I'll get there sometime soon. We're walking a little bit every day. I'm still looking for good articles on what happened. One of my friends, who is a nurse told me the terms are called WOUND EVISCERATION OR DEHISCENCE. I found a picture of a stabbing victim who had his organs on the outside. It was strange to see that again but I'm very interested in finding out more info about this complication.
While I was feeding the baby the other day, Mike and Hunter were reading some books together. I thought this shot was so cute of them. Since he joined the reading program at the Library this week, he's read 11 books. Yesterday, we went back to the library to show them his little book. He's over half way there and he got a ton of goodies. He got a florescent yellow hat, some green sunglasses, a free ice cream from Shoney's and a free ice cream from Chick-fil-a. When he finishes 20, he gets a Certificate of Completion that I'm SURE I'll put in his scrapbook. We love to read together and the time we're sharing.
Yesterday was SO productive. The only place we went was the Library, Walgreen's to pick up a couple items and Taco Bell for lunch, which we ate at home. I was able to run to the post office to mail out the rest of my thank you notes and Baby Announcements, after Mike got home . I also finished all our laundry and picked up around the house. I think I only need to vacuum the house and clean our bathrooms this morning.

Good News
Well, I went to see my Doctor on Wednesday and got a good report. He said the pain I'm suffering is probably part of the healing process. My tummy and internal organs are all soft and in great condition. He even said, after 4 weeks, my Uterus is back to pre-pregnancy size already. He still wants to know if I'm still having pain in the future, as it's a little strange for me to have the feelings I'm having. But he reminded me that I didn't JUST have a Cesarean but had 2 MAJOR surgeries in a row and that it will take longer to heal. The 2ND Surgery actually takes about 120 days on average to completely heal from, so it might be the Fall before I'm completely over all this. My incision still burns pretty bad but I knew that was normal. After asking me about it, he said it's actually my nerves bonding back together. It's amazing our body can do everything it does. (how it heals, how it recovers) What a miracle!! Anyway, he DID tell me about some over the counter medicine that helps break up gas in your tummy. Sounds like TOTAL TMI, right? Yep, that's right but he said, after a surgery like that one, it could make some serious changes while healing. SO, I was pleased with my report. God is SO good. I was really worried but I have alot of people are praying for me.
Today is Hannah's 1 month Checkup and then, hoping to stay home, maybe watch some movies, ready some books and work in Hunter's workbooks. It's rainy and dreary here and I'm just in the mood to hug my babies. Maybe I'll have time to catch up on my scrapbooking while they sleep. I hope you all have a great day! God Bless!

Our Newest Swimmer...
We took Hannah to the pool on Monday and she finally got to get in the water. We've been waiting for her Umbilical cord to fall off and it finally did a couple days ago. She slept through most of it but woke a little to see what was going on. Her little head is so little that it's hard to find her a hat that actually fits her. This one was passed on from a friend and one of the only ones that doesn't fall all over her. We covered her with tons of SPF and she didn't get any sun. (We had Hunter in the water at 3 weeks old which he's always loved too and he's never had a problem with getting too much sun) We went home, got cleaned up and took a nice nap.
Sitting by the baby pool while Hunter Man plays...
And right before bed, the kids sit for Reading time.
We had a great time at the pool on Monday. It's so nice because we all have fun and I actually relax. Tuesday, we went to Chick-fil-a for lunch, played a little on the playground and then, went to the Library. Hunter and Hannah both joined their summer reading program. They got a little reading chart, where we write down all the books they read, or have read to them. Every increment of 5 gets a surprise. After 20 books, they get entered in a drawing and a Certificate that they have completed the program. Well, we read every day and so, I told the girl working there we would probably finish next week. We've already done 6!! I'm glad Hunter shares our love for Reading. Books are SO wonderful! He also has to find Buddy Bug every week, somewhere in the library and he gets entered in a drawing to win a free book. We had fun looking for him yesterday and found him on the wall. I love the time we're spending together!
**
Today, we will play around here for a little while and then, I have a Doctor's appointment at 1:30. I wouldn't mind some prayers, as I'm going to see about pain in my abdomen since my second surgery. It's been consistent every time and is very painful. I'm hoping that it's just all part of the healing process but they may need to run some test to make sure everything is OK. It's really been worrying me because it's such a weird thing that happened. (and SO rare)
**
For the rest of the week, we'll probably do some reading, maybe go to the pool again and go for some walks in our neighborhood. He likes to ride his bike too sometimes.
Hunter starts swim lessons next week at the pool. I'm so excited for him. He LOVES the water! He can walk the length of the 3 foot all by himself now and he's really good at treading water. I'm really enjoying my time with him this summer.
Well, I'm off to eat breakfast and watch The Wiggles with my Hunter Man. Have a great "Hump Day"

It's July Already????
I can't BELIEVE it's July already!! The time is just flying by and I can't BELIEVE that today is my baby's one month birthday! She's growing SO much and she's over 10 pounds now! She's really thriving and my little man is a wonderful helper. We went to the pool Monday and had a blast in the water. We put Hannah in but she didn't think much about it. She hardly woke, except to look a little annoyed. We just got pictures, which I'll post later. She looked like a beach babe, with her purple flip flop bathing suit and purple Speedo floppy hat. Hunter can walk in the 3 foot all by himself and loves to jump off the side to us. He's a little fish!! We came home, took a rest, had some dinner and then did some time in his work books. He's doing good and LOVES his "School Time". We also purchased our Airline Tickets for our Disney December Vacation. We were going to drive because of the additional fees and gas prices but Airtran had a Web Special TOO good to pass up. It'll be nice to fly, rather than drive with a 4 year old and a 6 month old!! Now, I'm really excited about going!! Today, it's a little cloudy and we're supposed to get some rain later. I think we're going to the Library for some reading fun. He loves to read and look at all the neat books. Last week, we went to the SPCA and the Petting Zoo. We loved all the animals!! We also walked around our local City Center. Mom needed some exercise. I'm still having issues with my tummy but I have a call in to the Doctor. I've been having alot of pain from my 2ND surgery and have ignored it for the most part, thinking that it's all part of the healing process. But as I walked up to my front porch steps on Sunday, I almost passed out from the pain. Hopefully, they'll be able to figure out what's going on. It's a little concerning to me but there's no reason to worry unless I have to. I'm a pretty optimistic person and try to look at the positive aspect of life. I hope everyone has a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!

Busy Thursday
Hey, Guys!
I only have a minute to update. I'm headed to the Doctor's office today. I'm getting my Depo (birth control) shot today and hoping to talk to the Nurse. I thought it would be a good excuse for me to see them. I'm doing better every day but still burning pretty bad in my incision. I'd really feel more comfortable if someone saw it before the Holiday Weekend. It looks good but still, oh so sore. I take the Motrin during the day and if it's really bad, I'll take a pain pill at night. We're all headed to NC Friday morning and looking forward to it. I'll have a good chance to rest with so many helpers with my babies. My grandmother has already offered to babysit so I can go on the boat one day. Friday will probably be our shopping day in town. I'm looking forward to it. I want to work on Hannah's scrapbook and a Memory gift album I'm hoping to finish soon. Take care and have a wonderful day. If I don't update again, have a wonderful Holiday Weekend and God Bless!!
